CCL (Copper Clad Laminate) presses are specifically designed for PCB manufacturing, used to precisely laminate prepreg (pre-impregnated fiberglass) and copper foil under high temperature and pressure to form the fundamental base material for PCBs.
NTRY CCL press features a complete system consisting of a high-precision hot press unit, hydraulic system, temperature control, and cooling modules. An optional vacuum function is available to further enhance lamination quality. A typical configuration includes two hot press units and one cold press, significantly improving production efficiency, equipment utilization, and reducing energy consumption, plant space, and capital investment.
NTRY CCL press machines ensure stable board structure, consistent thickness, and smooth surface quality. With advanced automation, uniform pressure distribution, and efficient cooling, NTRY CCL press is an essential solution for high-end copper clad laminate manufacturing.
The CCL press is used to manufacture Copper Clad Laminates (CCL) by laminating prepreg (epoxy-impregnated fiberglass) and electrolytic copper foil under high temperature and pressure.
Hot Press Section
Composed of multiple daylights, which can be 10, 12,15,20,25. The maximum temperature can reach 250 degrees Celsius.
Precise temperature control with deviation less than ±1°C.
Typically heated by thermal oil circulation.
Cold Press Section
Uses circulating water or refrigerant for rapid cooling;
Ensures dimensional stability and sheet flatness;
Often separated from the hot press to improve production rhythm.
Hydraulic System
The total pressure is 8000-15000KN. The maximum pressure of each unit can reach 100 Kg/cm2.
Provides stable and uniform pressing pressure with automatic lifting, pressure holding, and overload protection.
Vacuum System (Optional)
Vacuum level reaches -39 mbar by removing residual air and gases during lamination.
Reduces voids and improves laminate density and insulation performance.
Temperature Control Module
Independent PID control per zone;
Supports multi-zone temperature precision management.
Separated hot and cold press sections for optimized space and workflow;
Optional vacuum lamination to enhance product quality;
Capable of producing high-Tg, halogen-free, and rigid-flex copper clad laminates;
Fully customizable (number of openings, plate size, temperature, pressure).
High Precision: Ensures uniform thickness and surface flatness;
High Efficiency: Separated heating and cooling zones improve production throughput;
Energy Saving: Optimized system design reduces energy consumption and material waste;
Automation: High level of control automation ensures easy operation and low failure rate;
