What is High Pressure Laminates? how HPL press works?

High Pressure Laminate (HPL) is composed of a stack of phenolic resin impregnated kraft paper, melamine decorative paper. The stacked papers are bonded at high pressure and temperature by High Pressure Laminating Press.
* Formica HPL:
thickness 0.5mm~1.2mm, can be bonded to substrates such as MDF (medium density fiberboard) or particleboard.
* Compact HPL:
thickness 1.5mm~25mm, it is thick enough and can be used directly
Application Field:
Both of them are applied in kitchen cabinets, office furniture, industrial decoration, exhibition material, train, interior decoration of ship, Laboratory desk, counter tops, Medical instrumentation, Bathroom cubicles, Outdoor furniture, exterior paneling. They also perform exceptionally well in high traffic areas such as hospitality, office spaces, healthcare, retail and commercial spaces.

* Step two:stack of phenolic kraft papers + melamine decorative paper, laminated at high temperature and high pressure by High Pressure Laminating Press
